Happy Healthscare Halloween?

Nancy Pelosi just proudly announced the formal release of the House version of the back-room health care reform bill...

...all 1,990 pages of it!

The bill includes everything Obama and the Democrats have been pushing for... a public option that will destroy private choice; the unconstitutional individual mandate; the punitive employer mandate; draconian cuts in Medicare; and massive tax increases.

Pelosi also started the "countdown clock" to a House floor vote now slated for NEXT WEEK.

Beat the PRESS

This week the battle that the White House is waging against freedom of the press continued. Clearly the White House believes that if it can paint Fox News as an incompetent or second rate news agency, then story leads developed by Fox will not be followed by other “Obama approved” news agencies. This strategy is reminiscent of a middle school bully giving the geeky science nerd a swirly in the gym bathroom for making him look stupid in class. Is this yet another example of how Chicago politics has creeped into Washington?

Is Obamacare Running Out of Steam?

Recently on the plush lawn of the West Wing Obama held a "Doc and Pony" show with cherry picked Doctors, who are supportive of his end goal, a single payer system. Some of these hand selected and choreographed doctors did not arrive (as they had been instructed) with their white lab coats. Fear not, White House wardrobe assistants hastily handed out "spiffy" white lab coat costumes so that the TV cameras could capture the image. One hundred and fifty doctors ready resplendent in their white lab coats and willing to embrace the new healthcare "Change" made for a wonderful backdrop. But unfortunately Obama delivered the same old message. Even his weekly addresses are begining to sound the same. Does he think we cannot hear?

Are the doctors in the white coats there for us? Or could it be that the white coats were called in to carry him away?
